The NanoGold straightening line is built on five key active ingredients. Each one serves a different purpose. Together they form a complete, restorative and straightening treatment.

• Glyoxylic acid – an organic aldehydo-acid. It permanently alters the configuration of the disulfide bridges in the hair. This ingredient is responsible for the straightening effect.
• Organic amino acids – penetrate deep into the hair structure. They replenish deficiencies and rebuild the hair from within.

• NanoGold – for all hair types: natural, coloured (light and dark), bleached, curly and wavy.
• NanoBlue – for all hair types, especially dark-coloured and natural hair where toning is not needed.

Pre Nano Botox is a preparatory product applied directly before the treatment. It has a neutral pH and intensely hydrates and revitalises weak, porous and dry hair. With this product, the hair is better prepared for the treatment and absorbs the Nanoplastia product more effectively.

Nano Plex provides comprehensive thermal protection. It shields the hair from the high temperatures of styling tools. Important: Nanoplastia is a heat-activated treatment. After each wash at home, the client must dry their hair with a hairdryer using warm or lukewarm air.

Step-by-step instructions – NanoGold Nanoplastia treatment

Step 1 – Consultation, allergy test and hair strength test

Conduct a thorough consultation with the client. Ask about any previous chemical treatments. Check the thickness and type of hair – this information is essential for determining the correct treatment parameters.

Perform the allergy test ideally 24 hours before the treatment. Apply the product to the nape of the neck or the inner forearm. In case of strong redness or itching: rinse immediately and do not proceed with the treatment. A mild tingling sensation is normal, as the product contains acids.

Step 2 – Product selection

Choose the correct product and proportions according to the table below:

• NanoGold – all hair types, bleached, coloured (light and dark), natural.
• NanoBlue – all hair types, dark-coloured, natural.
• 50/50 mixture – hair that requires toning. For light blonde, a maximum of 50% NanoBlue.

Perform the hair strength test on wet hair. Gently stretch small strands. If the hair breaks or splits – do not perform the treatment. This indicates permanent damage to the disulfide bridges.

Step 3 – Treatment parameters by hair type

• Dry, frizzy, straight: 160°C, 15 passes, 40 minutes
• Thin, bleached, wavy: 170°C, 15 passes, 40 minutes
• Average thickness, coloured (not bleached), light curls, grey (thin): 190°C, 20 passes, 60 minutes
• Thick, natural, curly, grey (thick): 210°C, 25 passes, 80 minutes
• Afro: 210°C, 30 passes, 90 minutes

Use a straightener with titanium plates (width 4.5–6 cm). For shorter sections such as a fringe, a smaller straightener (approx. 2.5 cm) is useful.

Step 4 – Washing the hair before treatment

Use a strong clarifying shampoo with an alkaline pH, such as the Golden Purify shampoo. Apply to wet hair and massage until the hair feels rough – this indicates that the cuticles are open. Rinse and repeat. Remove excess water with a disposable towel.

Step 5 – Drying the hair

Dry the hair to approximately 80%. For hair in weaker condition, leaving a little more moisture helps the product absorb more easily. Strongly curly and natural hair should be dried to nearly 100%. Afro hair requires complete drying – 100%.

Note: if the hair is in poor condition, this is the right moment to apply Pre Nano Botox. Apply to washed, towel-dried hair, 1–2 cm from the scalp. Leave for 20–40 minutes. A plastic cap or hair sauna can be used during this time. Rinse thoroughly and continue with the following steps.

Step 6 – Preparing the mixture

Shake the Nanoplastia bottle well before use. Due to the organic ingredients, the components may separate. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. When adding Nano Plex, stir until everything is fully combined.

Step 7 – Applying the product

Work in horizontal sections of 1–2 cm thickness. The thicker the hair, the narrower the section. Apply the product from 1 cm away from the roots to the ends. For strongly curly hair, apply as close to the scalp as possible (ensure an allergy test has been performed first). Distribute the product generously and evenly across every strand.

Step 8 – Product processing time

Follow the processing time according to the table in Step 3. Take into account the condition, hair type and degree of curl.

Step 9 – Removing excess product

Once the processing time is complete, remove excess product with a disposable towel. Spray wider sections of hair with water from a spray bottle. Massage thoroughly until the product loosens.

Step 10 – Drying after treatment

Dry the hair carefully and thoroughly. Due to the high concentration of moisturising agents, oils and butters, drying takes longer than usual – this is completely normal. All moisture must be removed to prevent heat damage from the straightener in the next step.

Step 11 – Straightening

Divide the hair into sections. Use a straightener with titanium plates exclusively. Apply the temperature and number of passes according to the table. Work in thin sections of 1–2 cm width. Press slowly and thoroughly with smooth movements until the hair has a glossy appearance. After the final section, wait 3 minutes before proceeding with the final wash.

Note: monitor the hair's texture throughout. If the hair begins to look dull, stop straightening that section.

Step 12 – Final wash

Use products from the Nano Gold / Nano Blue Homecare line (shampoo and mask) for the final wash. Wash the hair twice to thoroughly remove all product residue. Pat away excess moisture with a disposable towel. Apply a hydrating mask for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Step 13 – Final drying

Dry the hair with a hairdryer using warm or lukewarm air. Avoid hot air. Brush the hair regularly from roots to ends. Provide the client with clear instructions for drying their hair at home after the treatment.

Post-treatment care

Home care is the key factor in preserving the treatment effect. Using shampoos with aggressive formulas, anti-dandruff shampoos or purple shampoos significantly shortens the result. Only products from the Nano Gold and Nano Blue Homecare line guarantee the full 10–12 month effect.

Nanoplastia and other hair treatments

• Colouring (dye, toners, colour masks): can be applied 3 days after the treatment.
• Bleaching: best performed one week before the Nanoplastia treatment. Regrowth can be bleached after 2 weeks. Full hair bleaching is only possible after a minimum of 3 months.
• Keratin treatment: Nanoplastia can only be performed 6 months after a keratin treatment.
• Hair extensions: remove extensions before the treatment and reapply 2 weeks after.

Additional information – important tips

• The Purify cleansing shampoo lathers very little – this is normal.
• Avoid contact of the Nanoplastia product with metal elements.
• During drying and styling, the product may slightly evaporate – this is not harmful to clients or hairdressers.
• Nanoplastia products have a thick consistency due to the high concentration of moisturising agents and butters.

Professional tip

Use a straightener with wide titanium plates (4.5–6 cm) to effectively lock the product into the hair. Always work with very thin sections – a maximum of 2 cm wide. Cover every strand completely with the product during the treatment. This is the key to a long-lasting straightening result.
