FORM me UP Keratin Waving Spray Perm - Step by Step Guide

Step 1.

Conduct a consultation with the client and complete a pre-treatment questionnaire.

Step 2. Assess the hair condition.

Always perform a wet strand test before the treatment to determine if the hair is suitable for perming.

• If the wet hair crinkles excessively or breaks when stretched, the procedure should be avoided.
• Severely damaged sections should be trimmed or treated with an intensive repair treatment, such as Pro Repair Complex Diana.
• A skin allergy test is recommended 24 hours before the treatment – on the back of the head or the inner side of the wrist. If any allergic reaction occurs, rinse immediately with lukewarm water.

Step 3.

Discuss the desired effect with the client, assess the hair’s capabilities, and choose the appropriate perm rods and wrapping technique.

Step 4.

Wash the hair twice with Form Me Up Care Shampoo.
If the hair has a heavy buildup of styling products, oils, or treatments, use a cleansing shampoo to ensure proper absorption of the waving spray.

Step 5.

Towel-dry the hair, divide it into sections, and roll it onto perm rods. Secure the ends with perm papers.

Step 6.

After wrapping the hair, dampen the rods with water using a mist sprayer, then apply FORM me UP spray.

Step 7.

• Check the curl formation after 10 minutes, then again after 15 minutes.
• Application time:
  • Natural hair: 10–20 min
  • Colored hair: 10–12 min (maximum 15 min)

Step 8.

Cover with a plastic cap and protect sensitive skin areas with cotton strips to absorb any excess product and prevent irritation.

Step 9.

Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water for 5-10 minutes without removing the rods.

Step 10.

Blow-dry the rods with cool air for 5 minutes.

Step 11.

Apply Neutralizer Texturizer FORM me UP to each rod using a narrow applicator bottle, starting at the back of the head. Leave for 5 minutes.

Step 12.

Remove the rods gently, then reapply Neutralizer Texturizer, scrunching the curls lightly to distribute the neutralizer evenly from roots to ends. Leave for 3 more minutes.

Step 13.

Wash the hair with Perm Active Acidifying Shampoo, rinse thoroughly, then apply Perm Active Acidifying Mask for 10-15 minutes before rinsing.

Step 14.

Spray the hair with Form Me Up 10 in 1 conditioner, massage it in, then distribute a small amount of Curl Power fluid, scrunching for 5 minutes.

Step 15.

Blow-dry the curls using a diffuser on a cool setting or allow them to air dry naturally.

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR THE TREATMENT

1. First and third trimester of pregnancy
2. Chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, or other intensive medical treatments
3. Severely damaged, bleached, or overprocessed hair
4. Hair coloring within 7 days before the treatment
5. Henna hair dye
6. Hair bleaching
7. Nanoplastia, keratin, protein, or other permanent straightening treatments

POST-TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

1. Do not wash your hair for 72 hours to allow the new curl pattern to set.
