Step 1 – Consultation, allergy test and hair strength test

Conduct a thorough consultation with the client. Ask about any previous chemical treatments. Check the thickness, type and condition of the hair. Perform the allergy test ideally 24 hours before the treatment – apply the product to the nape of the neck or the inner forearm.

Step 2 – Hair assessment and parameter selection

Perform the hair strength test on wet hair. Gently stretch small strands. If the hair breaks or splits – do not proceed with the treatment. This indicates permanent damage to the disulfide bridges.

Step 3 – Washing the hair before treatment

Use a strong clarifying shampoo with an alkaline pH, such as the Golden Purify shampoo. Wash the hair twice. Remove excess water with a disposable towel.

Step 4 – Drying the hair

Step 12 – Cooling time

After the last straightened section, wait approximately 3 minutes before proceeding with the final wash.

Step 13 – Final wash
